Membership

      Any employee who is retired from the school system with a minimum of 5 years service is eligible to become a member. This includes teachers, administrators, clerical, custodians, transportation employees and all school staff members. The best way to recruit members is to talk with the retired employees that you know.

     Our membership currently stands at 119 members. Our goal is to increase that number so that we can be more influential with the State Government. Talk with anyone retired from the educational system and relay the advantages of being a member. We will share these advantages with everyone at our meetings. We will also have extra pamphlets and membership applications available at each meeting. Local and State membership dues total $45 annually. To join FREA/SCREA, click on MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION.
