The Seminole County Retired Educators Association was formed in 1976. A group of retired school employees met to promote the spirit of giving to the community and to support the Florida Retired Educators Association to ensure the support of retired school employees in all Florida communities and in the Florida State Legislature.
We are a group of former full-time school employees from either public or private school systems. We maintain our identity with the teaching profession by volunteering at our local schools and in the community. We assist in preparing active educators, who are prospective retirees by promoting and assisting in pre-retirement seminars. We advance the welfare and interests of retired school employees.
